William Deaver, Jr.

Died: June 30, 1855 in Early Grove, Marshall Co., MS

William Deaver, Jr. served as a private in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.

Susannah Smith

Born: January 05, 1772 in Guilford Co., North Carolina

Died: July 14, 1822 in Haywood Co., North Carolina

Married  July 14, 1791 in Haywood Co. NC

Children (5): John, Elijah, Samuel, Joseph, and Rueben.  William and Susannah also raised two of William's brother Nathaniel's daughters, Margaret and Mary.  After Nathaniel's death in Illinois, they, along with another sister, Frances, were brought back to western North Carolina by William Jr.  Frances was raised by another of William's brothers, Elijah.
