WELCOME
The
Graham County Festivals Committee Members want to invite you to participate in
this years Heritage Festival in Robbinsville, NC.
We are looking forward to a good year and to working with you to make
this a successful event. See you in
July!
LOCATION
Outdoors!
Crafts/Artisan/Food & Commercial Vendors will be located in the
parking lot of the New Beginnings Church, around Courthouse Square, and out South
Main Street.
BOOTHS
Information,
maps, parking passes, space assignments and schedules will be available at
the HEADQUARTERS BOOTH on day of set-up to assist you.
Vendor
space will be 12 x 12. All
equipment and signage should be within the designated space.
Set-up
is to be completed by 11 am on Friday, July 1 and removal should not be
before 6 pm on Saturday, July 2.
Vehicles
should be removed from the area by 11 am on July 1.
Vendors
will furnish their own tent, tables, and chairs.
Tent
set-up will be done so as not to damage the blacktop (blocks or pads on all
sharp poles with weights and tie downs on corners.
Vendors are responsible for clean-up around their booth daily and after take-down.
FEES
Space
rental fees must be submitted with application and are non-refundable.
The rental fee is $100 per space for food vendors from outside the
county. Fee is $50 for food
vendors from Graham County. Craft/Other
Booths are $20 per space. Non-profits
are provided one booth free of charge.
Food
Vendors preparing food please fill out a Temporary Food Vendor
Application and mail it in along with a $75 inspection fee and the vendor
application. The inspector arrives early (usually by 9:00 a.m.) and
will inspect your booth as soon as you get set up on the morning of July 1;
make $75 checks payable to Graham County Health Department; (non-profit
organizations exempt).
There will be no refunds once you have been accepted as a participant, even in the event of rain or catastrophic event.
RESTRICTIONS AND NOTICES
Water, ice, and canned or bottled drinks will be sold by the Festivals Committee to raise money. Vendors should NOT sell or distribute: water, bags of ice, alcoholic beverages, canned or bottled drinks, or stink/smoke bombs.
GENERAL
INFORMATION
Vendors
are responsible for all licenses, permits and sales tax collection and
payment. Vendors must be able to produce a valid NC Department of Revenue
Sales Tax Number.
Non-profit
organizations must have and be able to produce official documentation of
their non-profit status.
Craft
vendors are expected to sell handmade crafts, paintings, etc.
Graham
County Festivals, Inc. reserves the right to remove any participant at
any time before or during the Festival.
GCFI
shall have the right to interpret the rules and regulations; to amend,
add, or change such rules and regulations as in its discretion it might deem
appropriate; and to enforce compliance with such rules.
